Welcome to IEMAC 2012 and welcome to Estonia
Estonian Golf & Country Club has the great honour of hosting the International European Mid-Amateur Championship, held in Estonia 7th-9th June, 2012. We would like to thank the European Golf Association and Estonian Golf Association for giving us this trust.
As the Estonian Golf & Country Club continues to be the only member of the European Tour Course network in Central and Eastern Europe, we make every effort to bring our organizational and golfing levels to up to the highest international standards.
Open for just 6 years, Estonian Golf & Country Club, situated 20 km out of the Estonian capital Tallinn, is regarded as Estonia’s finest golf venue and has already twice achieved its rightful place in Golf World Magazine’s prestigious TOP 100 European Courses. It is also the course which hosted the Omega Mission Hills World Cup European Qualifier in 2009 and 2011.
In 2011, Tallinn took on its role as European Capital of Culture, and has hosted major international events, bringing people and culture together.
We assure that the EGCC staff, including caddie-masters, chefs and green-keepers, will strive to make this championship as wonderful and memorable as it has been in the past years.
You will find all the necessary information regarding the tournament on this official championship website. These pages will be updated in due order.
Finally, on the behalf of all Estonian golfers,
Welcome to Estonia, see you at Estonian Golf & Country Club!
